Instances?
Visiting instances is fun. Nowadays it’s easy to find a party with the Dungeon Finder so you can visit every instance in the game without waiting a long time. Or you just invite your guild mates to accompany you.
But when it comes to xp/hour, instances are a waste of time! Yes, the quests and mobs give more xp than regular ones. But you are also going to spend a LOT more time on completing/killing them. So, if you visit instances for gear and fun, it’s fine. But never visit them for experience.
Leveling in groups?
I enjoy leveling with my friends and it’s lots of fun. But be warned: groups are seldom needed to solve quests and you are going to waste experience. To level as fast as possible, leveling in groups is not an option.
